The region held its inaugural presentation evening in 2006 at the Marriotts Hotel, Huntingdon. 

Presentation to regional, clubs, coaches, gymnasts, volunteers and helpers was a great success so members have agreed to continue this annual event with winner receiving money or  vouchers in recognition of their achievements and hard work. 

In 2008 the 2007 Regional Awards were held in Basildon and 125 nominees, guests and club representatives had a pleasant evening with the awards gaining in popularity.

 The Elizabeth Hotel, Copdock in Janaury 2009 saw 132 people attend, and although the heating system broke down during dinner, on the coldest night (it always happens) coats were found and the presentation continued.                           A new category of award - the Techncial Committee Awards was added.
